Nearly everyone in the world underestimates how powerful the touch of another person can be. The need to feel the touch of another human being is so primal, such a baser part of our existence as human beings, that it's true impact on us can not be easily put into words. This power does not always have to do with sex either. From the time we are born, we associate the touch of another with safety, comfort and love. When sex does enter the picture, the results from an other's touch can be so profound that all logic and common sense can be washed away in a torrent of needs and desires that must be met. We forget this truth, because today there is so little human contact. We are separated by rules, laws, advertising, the Internet, but mostly by fear. If we as a people, hell as a species are going to survive in this world, we need to know that most hurts, pains, and sufferings can be solved with just a bit of compassion and the touch of another person.
