I have a two year old and has recently moved to The Netherlands. My husband is a Dutch native and of course speaks both languages. My question is , should I focus more on teaching her English and let Dad/school/TV teach her dutch? Myself, I can speak Dutch and hold a little conversation. My worries are also my family and friends in the States who obviously speak only English. I want her to be able to speak with them from the start. She's doing great with both. But she confuses the two. So should I focus on her English skills or Dutch skills?
