BluRagz grew up in tha volatile and highly explosive town of North Chicago Il on the murderous blocks of Broadway and Greenfield. He grew up on streets filled with Killers, Gangsters, Pimps, Prostitutes, Drugdealers, Snitchez, Liars, Dopefiends and Thieves, (any black neighborhood near you). The odds were against him from the very beginning. Yet a point Blank range shotgun blast, a flight 4 life, and a few bullet wounds later, he's on another page... As of today he's seven credits away from attaining his associates in Psychology. His goal is to attain a Doctorate in his chosen field of Psychology. BluRagz is also a published writer who's Poetry and other literary works have appeared in Anthologies, Journals and Newspapers... In his pursuit of his Rapp career, through the Nation of Islam, he was blessed to be asked to be on many Hip Hop security details for such stars as Sean Combs, Ice Cube and Snoop-Dogg to name a few. Blu also was the head of security for Twista and the Mobsters, when they visited and performed in Waukegan, Il. BluRagz also stood strong on security for all the Stars who attended the second Hip Hop Peace Summit. His style of repetitive, rapid fire, heart felt delivery is unduplicated...
