I am a nice, very kind hearted guy, laid back, easy going, and soft spoken. If you can think of any good traits you like I probably possess them. I try to be humble and non-judgmental and live by the Golden Rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I love everybody and like almost everyone. I see some good in everyone. I am very friendly, Ha Ha funny, and confident but not cocky. I am also fairly competitive. I was a distance runner in high school and was blessed to be a member of the number one track and field team in the nation as a sophomore at Hobbs High School in Hobbs, New Mexico, where I was raised and attended all of my school, including two years at New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs. I am still in excellent physical condition, having survived a heat attack with triple bypass surgery and a major stroke from post operative blood clots that hit the right side of my brain five years ago. I am fully recovered mentally but the clots hit where my optic nerves converge and I lost the left side of my vision in each eye. I see just fine straight ahead and to my right but I am totally blind to my left. My binocular vision now makes everything appear as though I am in a dream all of the time but I have become accustomed to it. I would really like to meet a nice lady who is mutually attracted to me to spend the rest of my life with. To me age, race, nor money are factors, love is love, no matter what. I would not be averse to relocating for the right lady or she would be more than welcome to relocate here. I have been contemplating opening a small cafe/coffee shop to have something to do and put a little money back for savings. That would be contingent upon the lady I hope to meet. It would be nice to find a lady that would wish to assist me in that endeavor but again, that would be up to her. I am open to all possibilities.

Interests
I like gardening, landscaping, fishing, camping, traveling and seeing new places, most sports, watching and participating, although I have never been interested in hockey or soccer. I like video games, board games, including chess, checkers, dominoes, and playing all different card games. I like to study history, science, and different cultures and places. I am learning computer programming on Kahn Academy online in Java Script language, just to play with it and maybe attempt to write a few programs. I have made programs using Excel but I want to learn the Java Script language because most programs are currently being written with it. I also want to learn wood working, to build things such as tables, benches, cabinets, etc. I like to go to antique shops, garage sales, and thrift stores. You never know what you might find. I love old cars and I own a 1995 Mercury Cougar LX Sport Coupe, a 1978 Camaro, and a 1980 El Camino. I also like to study physics and ponder the field unification theory, to try to better understand our universe and figure out why things work as they do. I like to listen to oldies from the fifties through the seventies with some eighties, nineties, and more modern. I don't like rap and I do like some country but I prefer rock and roll. I have a Sony Playstation One, a Sega Dreamcast, a Super Nintendo, a Sega Genesis, an Atari Flashback II, a Playstation Portable, a Retron that plays NES (the original Nintendo), SNES (Super Nintendo), and Sega Genesis all in one console systema, a Juaguar, an Atari 5200, and a Sega Saturn. I have many of those games but my favorites are the Zelda series, the Castlevania series, the Mario series, and the the Double Dragon series, the Mega Man series, along with Role Playing games such as the Final Fantasy series and Chrono Cross. I also have many computer games with some of my favorites being the Warcraft and Starcraft series, the Command and Conquer series, Lode Runner, the Diablo series, Space Invaders, Asteroids, The Sims series, and Qbert. I will probably get a Playstation 2, 3, and the new 4, a Nintendo Wii, an XBox 360, and a Nintendo 64 sometime in the future. I like all kinds of board games, all kinds of card games, Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, and Dominoes among other games.
