So, just what the heck is a lazy like? Not, what is it 'like'- but what is a like that is lazy? Apparently I'm in need of 5,000 of them...
Already into February, that at this pace it won't be long before I wake up dead one morning...
December 31st. Customarily the day we say good bye to the past, in anticipation of the new, as presented to us with the new year. How could I have known how true this would turn out to be...when my mother passed away on New Year's Eve, 2011. Eleven years ago today, the future became the present. For my mother, the present had become frozen through the cessation of time. For me, the future was lost, as time ran amok and the present was irrevocably altered.
So anyway, the good thing about blending in with everyone else, is that one is seldom missed. I've been in absentia for various time periods this past week or two, while helping a young woman in her extremely vulnerable position-being a lone woman living on the street, trying to clean up, being raped while trying to turn tricks so she could eat- all the while dealing with a bureaucracy and population that 'dislikes' first nations peoples... Oh-and keep in mind- those who would insult the street people... You are exactly the same kind of asshole who would rape someone unable to defend herself...
thank you to those who wished me a happy birthday, and thank you too, to those who didn't but could have. This was the big one, where I'm left on the precipice looking down at my mortality. It's downhill, with nothing to strap into... Pax...
