Motivated today for getting my house together after the kids first week at home for summer break. Even though they pick up… they still leave a decent mess.
Forgot to log in yesterday. My son who got the concussion is very into music and is now having trouble playing. I feel really bad for him. I know it may be temporary, but shit… how much more.
A friend of mine just asked what my least favorite thing about coming back from vacation was. I told her dealing with the hospital bills. 😂
Back to busy at work and I may have taken it for granted, because it is a lot easier than the vacation I took. Sheesh.
It was wonderful to sleep in my own bed. It was wonderful to not have to wake up early and get somewhere. I have been away from my house over a week and it rained like the whole time, so yard work is what’s happening today.
In the bad we can find some good. My son has a bit of a long recovery with a severe concussion, but they told us he had a blood clot and brain bleeds… a second opinion found out that he does not have a clot. I was so scared. He has a boring summer ahead but it was going to be way worse. I was about to bubble wrap his ass.
With my grandpa in hospice and passing and my some doing to the hospital this has been the most exhausting week… and the most expensive.
My grandpa passed way last night. I am happy he is able to be free… he had become so frail.
Still in the hospital in MN… honestly, this is the worst vacation. My sone should be discharged tonight. My grandpa has 1 or 2 days left. I’m tired.
When it rains it pours. It’s n MN to see family… my grandpa was just put on hospice care yesterday and my 15 year old skateboarded his ass right into the ICU with a fractured skull and two small brain bleeds and a neck injury. Can I just catch a fucking break?!?!
