I am finally back in Long Island! I flew back yesterday and what a horror show, getting to the planet was in my personal wheel, security check they had to pat me down and do the test then they checked the wheelchair, that took at least 20 not including the wait time and the plane ride was extremely tough I had my brace on and I had bent toes all the way back home! Thank God I am home!
I had my Dr. visit yesterday and he said I did not need surgery on the knee yet because the 2 fractures needed to heal and he said I needed physical therapy first before any surgery can take place so I am going back to NY and getting the therapy and seeing a orthopedic on WEDS so he will continue on care going forward.
I found out the results from orthopedic MRI, I torn the ACL muscle and the Meniscus muscle, so I will need surgery for the 2 torn muscles in the leg!
Tomorrow I will be getting a MRI on my lower back and Friday will be getting a MRI on my left leg, too see why I am having these spasms. Wish me luck!
Update: Had a scare yesterday was taken by ambulance to hospital, had a non stop leg and hand spasm they thought I could have a blood clot in the leg but they did a test and they ruled out a blood clot, so back to square one, getting a MRI done on Friday. I hope Friday there will be a conclusion. I am thinking a torn ACL in the lleg and torn ligaments!
Update:they took the cast off today I have a knee brace my next appointment is for a MRI ON JUNE 7 and I will be getting the results on June 14th, I will see if I need surgery or not on the 14th of June
I wanted to give everyone a update on my condition as of today. I have been dealing on multiple occasions this seizure like activity in both my legs and my arms and my body starts to tremble, my mom saw what happens to me when this occurs, she notified the neuro doctor and the neuro doctor said to her he thinks it might be my brain and he does not deal with brain injuries and said to talk to your medical doctor so he could recommend a doctor that deals with brain injuries. So bottom line is there maybe something going on with my brain, I have the orthopedic doctor tomorrow at 915am, to see what the next step is for the left leg. I have a lot going on with me and all I ask is for a lot of prayers for me. Thank You all! Bill
quick update: Neuro surgeon did not want to see me on Tuesday but going to see the other doctor this coming Wednesday for the leg to determine if surgery on the leg is needed or not
update: I am still in Florida I have a dr. appt on Tuesday with the neuro surgeon and in 2 weeks another appt with another dr who will look at my leg and determine if I need surgery on the knee or not! wish me luck and a lot of prayers!
Spent 10 days in the hospital here in Florida was suppose to be back on Long Island that is not going to happen,so I have 2 doctors appointments 1 in a week after discharge and the 2nd one in 2 weeks they want to check out my knee to see if there are any ligaments that are damaged if so I may need surgery to repair them. I am taking one day at a time and day by day! Thank You for the prayers and I will keep you all updated! Thank You all!
Well I was hit by a car while crossing the street . I have 17 staples in my head and have 2 fractures in my left leg,I am in the hospital and will be in here a while and will be getting physical therapy on my leg and back.
