I am currently a month into my stay in Barbados, loving time with family and friends. Having plenty of sun, sea, food and rum! So what could my problem be right? Well... I would normally top up my 'purple' with a semi permanent hair dye like manic panic or Adore once or twice a month. But its becoming obvious that the hair supplies I brought with me will not be enough to last the rest of my stay here...as it seems to fade from my deep purple to pretty shades of mauve/silver/pink/white very quickly...less than two weeks!!!
On the plus side it is hinting at just how much of my hair is now 'naturally highlighted'. Cough cough...erm yep...its pretty.
On the down side, I have not found manic panic or adore in the stores just other brands I am not so familiar with ...all permanent hair dyes. (Not used such a dye for 3+ years...not really wanting too)
So do I leave it and embrace the white/silver tones while I have a gorgeous tan. Look for more ways to battle the quick fading Or Do I ration the Purple hair dye that I have...hoping that I can get some to deliver here from online.
Would welcome any comments if you know of semi permanent dyes in Barbados...would love to know or something to tackle the yellowing of the sun  |
